We did Tenquille Lake from the lessor known way back in late Aug, 2018 via Birkenhead Lake. All my research showed we could get within 3km of the lake to trailhead that way. Low and behold we get up the spur FSR off Birkenhead Lake FSR and find a gate right away!

Tenquille Lake Trail is a beautiful forested area. The trail itself requires some light bush-whacking so visitors should be prepared for that. As well, this is a grizzly bear habitat.
